MetroDemic is the first game title produced by KurioCity Games. We are a startup gaming company based in the Seattle area.
How is that cell phones have made us so antisocial? On the bus, sitting with a friend, at the coffee shop, at our kid’s soccer game… the device that was created to bring people together seems to be creating distance between us.
We built MetroDemic as a way for families, friends, and co-workers to gather together for a fun afternoon of exploring and working as a team. We want people to go outside and play!
When people are pulled out of the daily grind and placed in a fun, competitive environment, you learn new things about them. You even learn new things about yourself.
Whether you’re looking for a company team building event or a way to chase away the boredom this weekend, we look forward to sharing our game creation with you!
About the Founders
Our names are Kris and Christine Neese. We’re a husband and wife team based in Seattle, WA.
We’re that strange couple at the block party with slightly off-color jokes and the kids who probably aren’t going to qualify as homecoming royalty!
We are creative people who see life through a slightly different lense. One of our big passions is volunteering as coaches for Destination Imagination where we teach kids creative problem solving skills.
Launching MetroDemic and KurioCity Games is a way for us to tie our love of technology, puzzles, games, and playtime into one big project. We poured our hearts into it and sincerely hope that it puts a smile on your face when you give it a try.
