Introducing MetroDemic, a new group game in Dallas that is perfect for escape-the-room lovers and those who are looking for a new experience with their friends, family, and colleagues.
MetroDemic is a game played on foot in the Dallas Arts District that applies some of the best things about escape the room like:
- Working on a shared challenge
- Exercising your brain
And a few layers of fun that aren’t normally found in escape rooms like:
- Playing outside around Dallas
- Getting some exercise
- Discovering some fascinating art and overlooked local sites
In MetroDemic, Dallas is being ravaged by a deadly epidemic that only you and your friends can stop! During the game, you’ll have 90-minutes to save as many souls as possible armed only with your wits and your smartphones.
Our (virtual) bumbling scientists are standing by with a constantly evolving map of outbreaks where the disease has been sited. Your team (or teams) of 2-4 people will hustle on foot to find outbreak sites within a few blocks of Klyde Warren Park near downtown Dallas.
At each outbreak site, your team will have to dig deep into your memories (or the search engine on your smartphone) to answer bizarre challenge questions on topics like Vanilla Ice, the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, corporate logos, Barney the Dinosaur, color blindness, and local spirits (the dead kind)!
Get a question right and you save lives. Get it wrong… and people die. Pay attention as the game story unfolds and the epidemic takes on a life of its own.
Play this room escape alternative to explore a really cool section of Dallas, burn some calories, and save thousands of innocent souls!!!
No reservations are required, you can kick off the game whenever you’re ready. MetroDemic is a great company team building activity in Dallas for groups of 20-50.
