Colorado Springs is the 11th U.S city to receive our off-color company team building game that involves hustling to “outbreak sites” in a downtown area in an effort to save the city from a deadly super-virus.
We go through a rigorous site selection process for all of our team building sites. A downtown needs to be extremely walkable, loaded with fascinating sites, and overall just feel like the kind of place you would want to spend the afternoon with family, friends, and co-workers.
Once of the things that makes Colorado Springs unique is the amount of art they have placed in the downtown area. Out of all of the cities we’ve mapped, this has the densest and most interesting collection of art that we’ve seen.
There also some very personal reasons for choosing Colorado Springs as our latest team building course. As a kid growing up in Denver, we used to drive down to the Springs almost every Saturday for a visit with my Grandad. I have good memories of spending time at his house, visiting Seven Falls, exploring Cave of the Winds, and enjoying all that this city has to offer. My Grandma is buried here, and I still have an aunt and cousin living in town.
Fast-forward 30 years to me as a father. While we were living in Northern Colorado, I used to love taking my own sons down to Colorado Springs for a weekend of exploring and fun. If you’ve never been to the hot air balloon festival, you are missing out!
It is my sincere hope that you fall in love with downtown Colorado Springs. Whether you are living near town and looking for something fun to do over the weekend or working downtown and need a company team building event for the afternoon, we hope that this game helps you see a side of the city you haven’t yet experienced.
Save lots of lives!
